I'm Dane, a smalltown Aussie kid living in NZ. I've been doing game art for many years, mostly personal projects and game mods, started out on the Halo PC modding scene. I specialized in textures but overtime came to be a designer and 3D artist, now specializing in items and character work, mostly weapons and armours.
I'm kind of a jack of all trades in terms of technicals. I model, texture, animate, design, previously acionscript, html CSS, motion graphics, video, and I enjoy music making and production as an extra hobby.
My previous job of 10 years was as a graphic designer and 2D animator. I like to think all that kerning and negative space gauntlet has given me a good eye in designing stuff for games.
Now currently a 3D Artist at Grinding Gear Games working on Path of Exile. I take on the whole production pipeline for asset creation, design, high to low to ingame and all there is inbetween.
Freelance 3D work for Demon's Souls in a varying range, Environment, character, items. Design, High poly, low poly, UV Mapping and texturing.
I work on Path of Exile and it's sequel, I'm a specialist in weapon, item and armour design, handling concept, modelling, texturing, managing outsource.
